I understand that the sidecar recipes can't be processed by the dam, but I did expect some intelligence in the dam that would automatically link the raw file, jpg images for various versions, and the underlying recipes corresponding to each jpg. I must say, I expected a higher degree of connection between the dam and developer. I saw your earlier post, it addressed my second question because I too make regular use of virtual copies. I think a lot of people who use fully integrated programs such as Lightroom and then switch to a separate DAM do not fully realize all the ramifications.
